The Gallente Intelligence Service is a federal security agency, monitoring and analyzing borders, inner security and trading pipelines for threats against Gallente corporations and members of the Gallente society.

The GIS is responsible for working in the dark and often does not report or claim any actions commited. GIS agents are specifically and not officially associated with the member list or in their bio as such, but act in other corporations, empires and enemy spaces - even in gank groups - to provide vital intelligence for state and economic players.

There is no official way of becoming part of GIS, as the agency chooses candidates based on their knowledge and position in their fields. However, on rare occations reports can be found in this bio for ongoing, unclassified threats regarding system security (with ganking problems) for example.

The GIS reports to other corporations of the Gallente Federation to inform them on security threats. Consequently the GIS is funded by these players.

For knowledge leading to the destruction of players wanted by Gallente Intelligence Service rewards of up to 500 Mio. ISK are payed out, depending on the severity of the actions committed by the individual.
